Sharing The Word

Self Deception

Would you say your most treacherous, deceitful, disloyal, double-crossing enemy is the one who subtlely sabotages most all your efforts.  This enemy brings the fear of rejection and the fear of failure into many things you want to accomplish.  This enemy has been with you all your life and knows you very well.

This enemy has been busy forming weapons against you since your childhood. These weapons are not easily detected, because they are tiny thought seeds growing in your subconscious mind.  After a time some of them may have grown into large strongholds of deception.

This same enemy forms more weapons against you than any other. But he is not in control of the power source that activates his weapons. Without that power source he is shooting blank ammunition. Without power his weapons are totally deactivated!

To put a face on his power source, all you have to do is look into a mirror and open your mouth. There it is in full view. The tongue! It is the power of life and death.

Amp. Pro 18:21    Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it ( for death or life).

We say what we think. Words are thoughts spoken.

We have the power to reject the construction of these weapons, as well as the power to disable and up root those that are already formed. But through ignorance of the Word of God, or self-deception some of us do nothing but assist the enemy of our souls.

We have the choice to cast the weapons down and and deactivate them, or we can exalt them above the Word of God and give them power to destroy.

 Amp.  2 Cor 10: 3-5

3.. For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons.

4.. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical {weapons of flesh and blood}, but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds,

5.. {Inasmuch as we} refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the {true} knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the anointed One).
